Cream Jehi Banas

Here’s a tasty dosage of nostalgia: Cream Jehi Banas. Even though the food colouring plays absolutely no role in the taste of it, we like the cream in our buns red, or pink.

 

Makes: 15 buns

 

Ingredients:

  • 15 buns
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ¾ tsp vanilla essence
  • Few drops of food colouring

 

Instructions:

  1. Using your mixer, grind the sugar to a powder like consistency.
  2. Mix the sugar with condensed milk, vanilla essence and food colouring.
  3. Mix until the colour is even and the texture is smooth.
  4. Make two slits on every bun.
  5. Using a teaspoon, insert the cream into the slits.
