We are 3!

We actually turned 3 on the 10th of last month, and here we are finally taking some time to celebrate.

The 3rd year was certainly strange as most of it was spent in the midst of a pandemic. But during the year we were visited 858,432 times by 281,218 folks, so here's the biggest thank you for all that support!

Below, we do a quick round up of the year, highlighting the most loved recipes and articles.

It’s green, it’s coconutty, it feels special, and it’s one of our favourite teatime snacks.

Gerikiru boakibaa

Gerikiru Boakibaa sort of sits at the halfway point between a butter cake and a condensed milk boakibaa. Anyway, it’s a delicious dessert that’s just perfect with a cup of tea.

Pandan Cake

Our version of the pandan cake is a bit different to the classic Malaysian padan chiffon cake. The chiffon cake involves the making of a meringue while our version is a bit simpler, yet quite delicious if we may say so ourselves.
